Fund a Day of Care and make a powerful difference in your local community.

What your support makes possible

By funding a full day of Guild Care services, you help people feel valued, cared for and connected. £2,478 funds a full day of care, covering everything needed to deliver essential services for local people who rely on Guild Care. Your support helps provide the resources, equipment and activities needed to support:

People living with dementia and their carers, families and friends

Older people experiencing loneliness and isolation

Children and adults with learning disabilities

The difference you make

Katrina & Darrell’s story

Katrina lives with dementia and attends Guild Care’s dementia day service. Her husband Darrell is her main carer, and they have been together for nearly 50 years, having shared their lives, work and family side by side.

"It’s given me space without worrying because I know she’s being looked after."

Darrell
Husband of Guild Care Dementia Day Service member Katrina

When Katrina was diagnosed, it was a big adjustment for them both. Darrell was initially unsure about using support services, but after finding Guild Care, the difference was clear.

Katrina enjoys attending the service, taking part in activities and spending time with others, while Darrell has the reassurance that she is safe and well supported.

For carers like Darrell, this support is vital, offering reassurance, respite, and the ability to continue caring with confidence.
