Dementia Day Services At Guild Care

Dementia Support in Worthing & West Sussex

Our service offers a friendly, inclusive environment designed to break down the stigma of dementia while providing respite for carers, families and friends.

Our dementia centres provide a variety of day services and social activities, all tailored to meet the needs of our members.

Holland House Dementia Day Service

Our new dementia day service at Holland House in central Worthing is in a purpose built space, designed to meet the needs of our members. We offer a range of meaningful activities including such as music, gentle exercise, arts and crafts, gardening and reminiscence sessions.

This service runs on Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30am-3:30pm.

Haviland House Dementia Day Service

The day centre at Haviland House in Goring-by-Sea is open Monday to Friday 9:30am-3:30pm.

We offer a range of person-centred activities and opportunities for socialising. Personal care and support at mealtimes can also be provided.

Social events at Haviland House Dementia Day Centre

Time Out Together hosts fun, friendly social events for people living with dementia and their carers. From Evening Socials to Afternoon Teas, dementia carers and their loved ones are welcome to join us for meaningful moments together.

Many of these activities are free of charge, but booking is required to secure your place.

At these events, we ask that the family carer provides support to their loved one.

July social events

Afternoon Tea

A relaxing afternoon of tea, cakes and conversation. Held once a month on Saturdays.

1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.

Evening Socials

These fun social events are held once a quarter and often have a unique theme. 

5:30 PM – 8:00 PM.

Sunday Social

A fun afternoon with a range of activities each month. Held once a month, on Sundays.

1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.

Dementia Choir at Haviland House

This uplifting choir session is designed for people living with dementia, their carers, families, and friends to come together through the joy of music.

Our dementia choir is open to anyone living with dementia and their loved ones. It is a wonderful way to meet new people in a relaxed environment.

Held once a month on Saturdays, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM. 

If you or a loved one would like to learn more about our services for people living with dementia, please do get in touch and we can arrange a visit to your preferred day centre so you can meet our team.
