This summer The Greenhouse, Guild Care’s charity superstore at Meadow Road, is extending its open hours to make it even easier for shoppers to browse one of Worthing’s most distinctive shopping spaces.

From now until the end of August, the much-loved charity superstore will be welcoming shoppers from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm, offering an extra hour of breathing space for browsing at the end of the day. The donation centre remains open from 8am to 4pm, while Sunday hours for both shopping and donations stay as 10am to 4pm.

With more than 20,000 square feet of shopping space, The Greenhouse stands out not only for its scale but for its wide range of stock offering the chance to discover something unexpected.

There’s a large furniture section as well as a range of electricals, sports equipment, fashion, books, records and games, each waiting for their next owner to enjoy.

Charity retail also supports a more sustainable way to shop, keeping good quality items in use and reducing waste. Guild Care takes pride in presenting good quality items that are clean, well-cared for and ready for a second life. People who kindly donate items they no longer need are also helping to fund Guild Care’s essential services across the community.

There’s a more relaxed atmosphere later in the day and it’s the perfect time to browse and pick up a fabulous new bargain.”

Guild Care is Worthing’s trusted social care charity, supporting older people, people living with dementia and children and adults with learning disabilities. Every purchase made in its 16 shops across West Sussex helps to sustain these services, strengthening local care where it matters most.
