L and V Electrical boosts Guild Care’s capital appeal with generous donation Guild Care has received a welcome gesture of support from local business, L and V Electrical. The company has generously given Worthing’s leading social care charity the sum of £1,000 alongside a further £300 sponsorship for the charity’s Summer Showtime outdoor cinema events held recently at Beach House Grounds. The contribution comes at a pivotal moment for Guild Care, as work continues on the transformation of the Community Hub Campus. L and V’s £1,000 donation will also be match-funded as part of a capital appeal with the ambition to raise £1million to establish a destination dedicated to supporting older people, people living with dementia and their carers, and children and adults with learning disabilities. Early plans focus on Holland House (previously Saxon House) together with Guild Care’s Methold House, to create a welcoming, adaptive space for those who use their different services ranging from Creating Connections to Learning Disabilities services. Kyle Vallance, Managing Director of L and V Electrical said, “We chose to support Guild Care because of the incredible work we witness across their various sites. From the compassionate care provided in their care homes to the vital support offered through their community centres, it’s clear how much of a difference their team makes in people’s lives. “We’re proud to play a small part in helping that work continue - you never know when you or a loved one might one day need these invaluable services.” L and V Electrical brings over 30 years of combined experience to domestic, commercial and industrial electrical projects. Founded in 2021, the team strives to deliver projects with professionalism, reliability and a commitment to excellence. The company recently completed an electrical project at Linfield House, one of Guild Care’s residential and nursing homes. The care taken to deliver safe, reliable and polished workmanship aligns with the company’s ethos and its wider support for the community. Guild Care’s Corporate Development & Partnership Officer, Daryl Wollers, said, “The generosity of L and V in making this donation, alongside its professional work on some of our different premises, just shows the amazing community spirit here in Worthing, and what a difference local businesses can genuinely make to the people we support especially with all donations to our Community Hub Campus match-funded.” The support from individual donors and companies such as L and V Electrical reinforces the momentum of the Community Hub Campus appeal, as Guild Care works to realise a £1 million vision for inclusive facilities here in Worthing.
