Excellence in Dementia Care

Our not-for-profit status allows us to provide the highest levels of care as all funds are reinvested back into our homes. This helps us ensure high staffing levels, and provide advanced training and fair pay for our people, which means our staff are as invested in providing excellent care as we are.

We are continuously looking at the latest innovations in dementia care, as well as regularly upgrading our facilities to provide some of the best possible surroundings for our residents.

Fully Inclusive 24/7 Nursing Care

All Guild Care homes include 24/7 nursing care as standard, which can adapt as our residents' needs change.

We know that dementia is a journey, and we plan our care to help residents navigate each step of the way.

Nursing care is included within our fees as standard so you will never be asked to pay more if your care needs change.

Special offer now available for respite care stays

For a limited time we are offering four weeks respite care for the price of three.

Respite care can be a lifeline for carers and now is the ideal book as you will and receive one weeks' free respite care when you book a three week stay with us.

We are proud of our high staffing levels and strong retention rates, providing familiarity and reassurance to residents and their loved ones. Kerri Sparrowe, our dementia lead at Haviland House, believes this is one of the reasons Guild Care is unique.

In some homes, care will be spread across a large number of people - including district nurses - so small changes in a resident’s behaviour can go unnoticed.

At Guild Care, we have round-the-clock nursing and continuity with our in-house staff, so we get to know residents really well and can spot even subtle changes, adapting our care plans accordingly.

We put the people we support at the heart of everything we do at Guild Care

We provide dementia training to all team members, which includes a bespoke programme co-written by Kerri – 'I’m Still Me'.

At the heart of the training, is recognising the individual behind the condition – getting to know their story and their unique circumstances so we can care for them in the best possible way.

A Trusted Home for Your Loved One

We are proud to offer a real home for our residents – where they are surrounded by love and support that evolves as their needs change.
