Guild Care’s eBay store nears 2000 reviews as online success grows Guild Care’s online charity shop store on eBay is celebrating remarkable growth, reaching 1,978 customer reviews and an impressive 98.5% positive rating. The online outlet for Worthing’s leading social care charity has achieved sales on more than 3,800 items to date with more items listed for auction every week. From bargains under £10 to unique finds worth up to £550, the eBay store has become a thriving part of the charity’s retail operation. Guild Care has 16 charity shops across West Sussex but through ebay.co.uk, shoppers nationwide have the chance to support Guild Care’s mission while finding something special. “Selling on eBay has transformed how we fundraise online, giving us a new and wider audience for some of the items that people generously donate to support our charity and its work in the Worthing community,” said Dawn West, Retail Operations Manager at Guild Care. “Our eBay store lets us connect with supporters all over the country, give donated items a second life, and raise essential funds for our community work.” The online shop is supplied with items by each of Guild Care’s shop managers who carefully photograph items and then listed them for auction. “We’ve sold over 3,800 items so far, including everything from vintage collectibles to games, toys and vinyl records,” added Dawn. “Every sale, whether it’s 99p or £550, makes a real difference to the people we support. And our 98.5% positive feedback shows how much people value what we do.” With 59 new reviews in the past month alone, Guild Care’s eBay store continues to grow from strength to strength. The retail team now hopes to build on that success, reaching even more online supporters and driving funds directly back into supporting with older people, people living with dementia, and children & adults with learning disabilities The latest items for auction are available at Guild Care Charity | eBay UK Stores or for more information on Guild Care’s services in Worthing and the surrounding areas and their charity shop locations, visit Worthing's leading social care charity | Guild Care.
