Extra Club is a vibrant social and friendship group designed for young adults (ages 20-35) with learning disabilities and more complex needs. Our welcoming community provides a fun and inclusive space where members can connect, socialise, and enjoy a great night out with friends.

Each club night is packed with exciting activities, including karaoke, disco nights, arts & crafts, circus skills, and even an ‘Amazing Animals’ visit! Members can also take part in cooking sessions, TV quiz nights, computer games, and “It’s a Knockout” races. We love celebrating throughout the year with Halloween and Christmas parties, plus special outings like ten-pin bowling and festive pantomime trips.

Darren, Activities Co-ordinator at Fitzalan says: 

"The young adults that come to Extra Club are a real mixture of different personalities that enjoy each others company and love taking part in the many different activities we do. Every evening is different with lots of fun, my favourite part of the evening is the start of the evening when we have a chat about what everyone has been doing the last week, everyone has a chance to speak and gives them a chance to feel relaxed and confident to be a part of the club."
