Are you experienced at helping people with dementia, or are you keen to learn how to support them? Guild Care is looking for volunteers to help with their Dementia Services.

As a Dementia Services volunteer, duties will include general assistance around the centre and provide support with activities on a 1-to-1 basis. You may also need to support with general office admin (e.g. answering the phone, taking messages, assisting with mail outs) and helping at the coffee bar by serving or clearing away at lunch time.

Most importantly, you will need a kind and patient nature, and you must be passionate about interacting with the people we support. An understanding of the needs of people living with dementia may be useful, although we will provide support and guidance.
