Do you like helping others meet new people? Guild Care is looking for Befriending Community Companions to help vulnerable people leave their homes and socialise. 

As a Befriending Community Companion, you will provide various services like telephone befriending and a regular home visiting service. One-to-one support is offered to people who have lost confidence, particularly due to a fall or reduced mobility.  

We welcome anyone who has special skills or interests they can share e.g. chess, foreign languages.
