It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Baker, a dedicated former Trustee for Guild Care and previous Mayor of Worthing. Paul peacefully passed away to pancreatic cancer at the age of 65, surrounded by his devoted wife of 37 years, Sandra.

Paul's unwavering commitment to Guild Care, where he served as a trustee for many years, was characteristic of his inherent dedication to making a positive impact in the community. His selfless contributions to Guild Care, alongside his extensive service to the broader community of Worthing, profoundly touched the lives of countless individuals and families.

Born and raised in Worthing alongside his beloved wife Sandra, Paul's influence extended far beyond his political and professional activities. He also served as the former president of Worthing Rugby Club and was a talented singer in several choirs.
